MobilizeU Winter 2025
Join the MobilizeU at YorkU knowledge mobilization course this Winter!
Adapted from the Research Impact Canada MobilizeU Summer program, this course will cover a different topic in KMb each week with both asynchronous core content from the original summer program, and synchronous Zoom sessions with YorkU knowledge mobilizers.
Core content will be released via eClass each Monday, starting January 13. The 8 live Zoom sessions will run on Fridays from 1:00 – 2:30pm ET beginning on January 17, with the final session on March 13, with the exception of Reading Week (February 17-21). Certificates will be awarded to participants who meet the minimum requirements for completion.
Ideal for: Beginner Knowledge Mobilizers
Open to: York University Faculty, Staff, Students, Post-Docs, Research Team Members, Community Partners and recent YorkU Alumni
Commitment: 2-3 hours/week
Course Dates: January 13 – March 14

Apply by: December 11 to hear back before the holiday break; applications submitted after December 11 will be reviewed in the New Year

Cost:
The course is free to all York University Faculty, Staff, Students, Post-Docs, Research Team Members, Community Partners and YorkU Alumni who have graduated in the last 2 years.
There is a fee for non-York University participants- $800 per person; $400 per person for those working in a non-profit organization.

Course Certificate:
Participants must complete 6 activities to earn a certificate of completion. Activities include assignments and live Zoom sessions.
For example:

- - Complete 2 assignments, attend 4 live sessions
- - Complete 5 assignments, attend 1 live session
- - Or any combination adding up to 6!
